Robert Kraft: Owner And CEO Of The New England Patriots

Robert Kraft is a man of many hats. He is the owner and CEO of one of the most successful teams in American football – the New England Patriots. In addition to that, he’s also a prominent businessman. He has been recognized for his philanthropy by being awarded an honorary knighthood from Queen Elizabeth II and joining the prestigious Harvard Board of Overseers.

On June 25, 1941, Robert was born in the city of Brookline, where he would later attend high school. From a young age, Robert was interested in sports and even played football himself while attending Columbia University. However, it wouldn’t be until 1971 that Robert started professional American football when he purchased the New England Patriots for $172,500.

Robert would keep the team in Boston and change their name to the New England Patriots after they moved into a new stadium in Foxborough, which is where Robert Kraft Stadium currently stands today. Under Robert’s leadership, The Patriots have won five Super Bowl championships, tying them with Pittsburgh for the most all-time.
